During the process of publishing several new observations have been made, and some new titles in the bibliography have become available, as follows:

Photographs of a butterfly, taken in 1 VIII 2009 by Tassos Kollias in Kérkyra, was confirmed as C. marshalli with the help of Giannis Gavalas and Sotiris Alexiou all members of a group of people interesting on the orchids of Greece http://www.greekorchids.gr/

This butterfly (adults and eggs), with the help of Tassos Kollias, finally photographed also by the author in 5 VIII 2009 at altitude of sea level on Pelargonium and Geranium plants, in Kérkyra. This South African lycaenid accidentally introduced to the Balearic Islands in about 1987 and has since spread to parts of Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, United Kingdom, Holland, Belgium, Slovenia, Germany, Malta and Morocco.

Cacyreus marshalli represents a potential threat for native Geranium plants (see: Ambra Quacchia et al: Can the Geranium Bronze, Cacyreus marshalli , become a threat for European biodiversity? Biodiversity and Conservation, Springer Netherlands, Volume 17, Number 6/June, 2008).

The butterflies of Greece are very probably now (after the expected establishment of this species in Greece) 235; this record creates some changes in Plates and Diagrams of this book, all made without this new record.
